our story so far

Bloc was founded in early 2006 by construction professionals with a desire to do things differently.

With over 30 years of experience working for others in the construction industry, the Bloc founders certainly learned a lot about the business.

They also learned a lot about clients. Like what made them happy and, well, not so happy. Armed with this knowledge, and the realization that there's always room for innovation, the idea for Bloc came along.

Bloc is built on the belief that there's no better resource than people. When you hire great people, you get great results. When you treat people right, they tend to stick around.

The same can be said of our clients. Provide them with smart people and things get done right. Provide them with a one-to-one contact and things get done quickly. To us it's that simple. And it's why great service is our key deliverable.
